In his email he said the following: "In case you or other QBRA members are interested, VIU’s annual ACER Climate Change symposium is scheduled for Saturday, May 2 and will be held on the Nanaimo campus (roughly 9am – 2pm). The theme this year is Climate Change: The Economic Imperative (tentative wording). We have lined up Dr Mark Jaccard (SFU) as the keynote speaker. https://www.sfu.ca/rem/people/profiles/jaccard.html The rest of the agenda is still a work in progress, but will include a few additional speakers and workshops. The event is FREE and OPEN to the Public. It will also include refreshments and lunch." |
